New Notification and Document Retention Requirements for Posting of Workers

New notification and document retention requirements apply when EU companies post workers to the Czech Republic, as follows:

  • The sending company (not the host company, as was previously required) must sign, stamp and file the notification form on or before the posting start date. The form can be filed by email or in person at the appropriate Czech labor office. 
  • The sending company must notify the labor office of the end of the posting within 10 days after it ends.
  • The sending company must keep the worker’s personal information on file.
  • The host company must ensure that a copy of the worker’s employment contract with the sending company is kept at the work site. The contract must be translated into Czech.
