USCIS Propose Fee Increases
January 14, 2020 | United States of America
In December 2019, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) proposed a significant increase in fees for filing certain naturalization and immigration applications. Fees for select applications are expected to increase by an average of 21 percent.
Along with higher application fees, non-immigrant workers will face higher fees and be able to list fewer beneficiaries on their application forms.
The DHS says the fee increases are necessary to cover all costs associated with operating the country’s immigration benefits services.
