USCIS to Host Webinar on June 18th for its Reopening Procedures and COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Following the reopening of its domestic offices on June 4th, USCIS is hosting a webinar on Thursday, June 18th with reopening procedures and safety guidelines for visitors.

The webinar is scheduled for Thursday, June 18th from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). The agency will provide information on reopening procedures for its asylum offices, field offices, and Application Support Centers (ASCs), which started to reopen for non-emergency services on June 4th following a suspension of routine services that began on March 18th due to the COVID-19 National Emergency.

Anyone who would like to join the webinar can follow steps outlined on the USCIS website. Registrants will receive a confirmation email after successfully registering for the webinar. Participants should join 10-15 minutes before the webinar starts. The agency will accept and respond to questions in advance regarding its reopening guidelines and safety protocols for visitors. However, USCIS will not answer case-specific questions. Questions should be directed to the following email address: public.engagement@uscis.dhs.gov with the title of “Reopening” in the subject line.
